December 2007
I had the pleasure of visiting the Rose Garden in Auckland at what I think was the peak of rose season there. I spent hours wandering among the fragrant flowers waiting for the sun to go behind a cloud so that I could snap a few photos of them (does 200+ count for a few?). There was such a range of colors and varieties, I was a bit overwhelmed but the roses I buy for myself are usually the salmon pink color. I could spend hours (if I had them!) studying the details of the flowers, fascinated by the miracles of nature.
