I have a little point and shoot camera that I had converted to take infrared photos. It’s great because it fits in my pocket when I travel and I have a means to feed my photography habit even if I don’t have my normal cameras with me.
I had one weekend to spend in Auckland and of course I had to go up the Sky Needle – I took a bunch of normal photos from the top but when I came back down I was drawn to the view up. I didn’t have a wide angle lens with me for my DSLR so I took out my infrared and tried that instead, I was pleased with the result and honestly I think I liked it best out of all the photos I took at the Needle that day.
