Serengeti Kopje

From Photo Sanity

February 2002

We were in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania during the great migration and the birthing season for wildebeests. We spent most of our time photographing the births and other animals. It was a fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone. However, after many days of animal photography it was great fun to get back to some landscapes in the form of the photogenic kopjes. I tried to capture the vast expanse and openness of the Serengeti Plain by making the sky the majority of the photo.
